YEO Group, a global leader in sustainable energy infrastructure, has entered into a strategic partnership with Scatec, a Norway-based renewable energy company, for the development and construction of three solar power plants in Romania with a total capacity of 190 MWp. This major initiative marks a significant contribution to the region’s clean energy transformation.
Strengthening Clean Energy Supply in Eastern Europe
Two of the three solar power plants developed under this collaboration will be integrated into Opcom’s Contract for Difference (CfD) mechanism, which is Romania’s official support scheme for renewable energy. This will strengthen the country’s clean energy supply and enhance stability in the national electricity grid.
Through this large-scale investment, YEO Group continues to reinforce its commitment to providing sustainable and innovative energy solutions across Europe, while supporting key national and EU-level renewable energy targets.
